Shadow and Bone

Author's Note: This is a retelling piece about the novel "Shadow and Bone". Don't worry though, no spoilers here.

Shadow and Bone is about a young girl hiding a rare power that makes her first into a celebrated icon then a tool.  A powerful man wants to use her power to create a weapon that will wipe out villages, cities, even whole countries and in her weakness she almost lets him. Almost, because at the last moment something happens to stop him.
